Since This Software Is So Different From Others I've Seen Recently, But A Brief Description Of The Application Was In Order. Foobar2000 (Free Avilable Here) Is Not An Application For Organizing Music At The Same Level As Mediamonkey, Winamp WMP12 Or Because You Can Not Sync With MTP Devices, Which, Frankly, Most Market Players MP3 That Uses Today. As Such, I Decided To Treat It As A Music Player Side Of The Computer Only. You Can Organize Content In A Device MSC With Him, But There Are Fewer Players Who Require It. What Makes It So Special In The Side Of The Computer Is That It Is Extremely Light Yet Very Broad In Their Area. Not An Elegant Look Or Trying To Be Too Fancy, But Makes Playing Music And Nothing Else. In These Days Of Netbooks And UMPC/MID Running The "Real" Operating Systems On Hardware With Low Energy Consumption, The Need For Something Light Is Definitely There.
Custom Layouts
Other Software I've Reviewed In One Case (Winamp) Poor Attempt At Custom Designs. Foobar2000 Handles All Design So Different That It Deserves Its Own Section. When You Start, You Have The Possibility Of Some Colors And Default Settings. It Is Not Leather, They Are More Like Guidelines On How Bars And Menu Tabs Behave. Foobar2000 Is Entirely Based On The Division Of The Application Window, In Any Form And Shape You Want, By Adding Various Elements Of The User Interface Yourself And What You Want To Resize. The Design You See In The Picture Is Made by Me, And Has Three Columns. The Left Is Divided Into Two, The Top Is A Tabbed Pane With File Information In A Tab And A List Of Playlists On The Other. The Background Is A Media Search Engine, Looking At The Library. The Middle Column Shows The Current Selection And Playlist Selector, And The Right Column Contains The Blankets And Giant Display Equalizer. I Can Exchange Or Resize Any Of These Windows Do More By Adding 10 New Rows Or Columns, Add Playback Controls, Displays 10 Identical Playlist Or Play Tic-Tac-Toe With The List Of Windows Read If I So Happy. The Reason It Works Much Better (In My Opinion) That Winamp Skins And Tried To Make Is That, Instead Of Clogging The System With Fancy Graphics That Make Up The Elements Of The User Interface Using The Standard Application For Designing A Personalized Standard "Parts" Form. Compare It To Build Something In Lego Instead Of Woodcarving. Anyway, It Works Fine And Does Not Affect The Performance Of Some Applications.
Besides The Main Window, There Is A Function Called "Album List", Which Is A Window That Allows You To Browse Your Music In A Tree Structure. It Is Also Customizable So You Can Choose How Each Classification Methods (Year, Artist, Album, Etc.) Is Sort Their Music. When I Started My Opinion Winamp Who Fulminated About The ABI>>IRC Channel. The People There (Users Winamp) And Said They Did Not Care About The Features That Are Missing From The Library, Etc. All They Wanted Was To Play A Playlist Or Folder. While Winamp Can Just Do It Without Taking The Death Penalty, Such Use Is Exactly What Is Done For Foobar2000. It Is Made To Play Music, Create Playlists And Find Music Quickly And Easily, And Then Play. You Have Everything You Need In Foobar2000 By Default And If You Play Music Is What I Want To Do, Foobar2000 Is Perfect. It Is Easy To Create Playlists, Easy To Find And Easy To Control Music Playback. You Can Assign The Playback Controls To The Keyboard And You Can Also Move The Playback Controls In The Application Shortcuts, Because They Are Part Of The Elements Of Customizable User Interface. Dowish I Had A Way To Make The Controls More Play (Could Not Find One) That When They Were Good Enough For A 720P 11.6 "Screen, I Use It On My 1080p 24" Monitor.
Playlists
Lists Are Very Important In Foobar2000 And Most Of His Musical Selection Is Likely Playlists Were Used. You Can Create, Copy, Paste, Rename, And Play Playlists And Apply A Gain Replay The Entire Playlist, Add The Playlist To The Queue "Now Playing" Or Convert The Entire Playlist, You Can Do With The Individual Files. Lists Can Be Selected In A Variety Of Ways, Including How Specific Windows To Display All Or Haver A Drop Down List To Choose Between The Two. You Can Customize The Information And The Status Bar Displays The Title Of The Window, Save And Load Saved Drawings, Minimize Change Configurations, Colors And Fonts, And The Playback Screen. An Extension Of Fact, I Installed Was A Feature Of The Windows 7 Jump List (Which Allows You To Control Playback From The Icon On The Taskbar), And Then The Menu Is There For Me.

Other Parameters That I Noticed When Foobar2000 Use Which Might Be Worth Mentioning Include Adjustments To Remove Dead Or Duplicate Options (The Latter Of Which I Tried, Without Success, For Some Reason) And An Adjustment To Select Whether The Cursor Should Continue To Play Or Vice Versa. The Latter Is Essentially A Way Of Saying That Foobar2000 Focus On The Windows Of Information, Such As Displaying Album Art And File Tab Information In Case You Change The Reading Or Independent And Linked To The Manual Input, And So On. There Are Also Several Modes Of Pleasant Reading Repeat Configuration Also Includes Several Different Modes To Choose From Shuffle Shuffle A Playlist, Folder, Etc. Could Probably Comb The Application And Include Tweaks And Minor Adjustments Each Day, But The Fundamental Point I Am Not Trying To Convey Here Is That, If The Application Is Simple And Straightforward, There Are Options To Adjust The Heck Out Of The Application, If That's Your Style.
